Laura Kirar - Artists + Designers - Hostler Burrows

Laura Kirar is an internationally renowned visual artist that creates memorable interiors, product and collectable designs with a timeless sensibility reflecting her respect for history, materials and innovation. It has been her mission to foster artistic collaboration within the realms of artisanal crafts and various design disciplines, always merging modern and traditional techniques. Her extensive world travels and studio work in Mexico are powerful influences on each project she undertakes.

Kirar holds a degree in sculpture & interior architecture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her interior projects range from high- end residences to award- winning commercial interiors, restaurants, showrooms, and hotels including her own widely published Mesón Hidalgo – Guesthouse Boutique, a hotel & experiential retail location in San Miguel de Allende. Laura Kirar’s work is collected globally and has been profiled in numerous top print and digital publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Condé Nast Traveler, House Beautiful, Interior Design, Interiors, Metropolitan Home, New York Spaces, Space, Self, Veranda, Vogue Living, Women’s Wear Daily, W, Time Magazine, Wallpaper, New York Magazine, and The New York Times.
